Beau Quarry – Director / Member Credit Committee
Beau is an experienced Risk Management professional, his early career was in Corporate Treasury initially at Mobil Oil and later as Treasurer of Novera Energy Europe Ltd.
In 2005 Beau joined a small Family Office with a private equity / distressed lending focus as Investment Director. During his time in the firm, Beau concentrated on company work outs. It was during this he became actively involved in property development, initially inheriting a $26 million loan portfolio in default. He worked the loan out by managing asset sales and selectively developing sites with upside potential.
He went on to develop a number of diverse projects including a 500m2 Data Centre in Perth, WA and a 6,500 m2 office building in Mexico.
In 2010 Beau set up a small funds management company in London that offered UHNW clients the opportunity to participate in their own residential property developments. In 4 short years his company built circa $50 million worth of housing and gained planning approval for a further $45 million in housing projects. Returns to investors ranged from IRR 26% to IRR 125% and were unlevered.
Beau has Bachelors of Commerce and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. Beau is the Managing Director of Solido Capital.
Michael Corcoran – Director / Member Credit Committee
Michael has more than 28 years of experience in Australian residential property development and funding.
He currently advises clients including AMP Capital, Proprium Capital Partners, the Knowles Group and is the Independent Chairman of the Zuccoli joint venture Master-planned community located in Darwin. This project is typical of the many mixed-use residential projects that Michael has been involved with throughout his career. Prior to establishing his own development advisory consultancy, MC3 Advisory, Michael spent 20 years in Senior Executive & Project Director roles with major Australian property companies including Stockland, Mirvac and AV Jennings.
Michael’s projects ranged from Apartment developments such as Sydney based The Abode and The Hyde with Stockland, Yarra’s Edge with Mirvac in Melbourne through to medium density infill projects such as The Heath in Melbourne and Prince Henry in Sydney and major Master-planned communities such as Bridgewater in Sydney, North Lakes in Brisbane and Highlands and Harpley projects in Melbourne.
Michael was previously the National President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia, the peak development industry body in Australia representing over 2,000 members. This position gives Michael constant access to the development industry and real time insight into market conditions and current developer issues and opportunities.
Michael has a BA (Economics) and a Graduate Diploma in Property Resource Management. At Solido Capital, Michael is responsible for deal origination.
Cameron Dart – Head of Funds Management
Cameron has extensive experience in investor and funds management having spent more than 20 years in Investment Property and Private Banking.
In 2003, Cameron co-founded a commercial property brokerage firm in London where he was Managing Director for 6 years. There he was involved in numerous large property transactions including the purchase of a $96m mixed use Commercial Real Estate portfolio across the UK.
For the last 7.5 years Cameron held the position of Senior Private Banker at Westpac Private Bank in Sydney where he managed the complex needs of UHNW Private Investors, Family Offices and Institutions.
Cameron holds a Bachelors of Commerce Degree majoring in Economics and Masters in Business Administration and is responsible for Investor Relations and Funds Management of the Solido Capital Partners Mortgage Fund.
Matthew Lambrinos – Senior Analyst
Matt has 10 years experience in private commercial property and property development debt. In 2012, Matt joined one of Australia’s largest aggregators of private finance, where he was ultimately responsible for the credit team. Within this role, Matt advised on the financial structuring of numerous projects across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Matt has strong credit and due diligence experience and a deep understanding of the key risks inherent in development funding and how they are best managed. Matt’s financial structuring knowledge spans multiple capital sources; from senior and mezzanine debt to tiered equity structures.
Matt pairs this banking knowledge with hands on development experience, having managed the planning process and construction for projects in NSW and QLD. This allows Matt both financier and developer perspectives when assessing Solido Capital’s investment opportunities.
Matt is a current committee member for the UDIA NSW Young Leaders Committee, which develops future leaders for the industry and contributes thought leadership on changing city designs.
Matt has a Bachelors of Commerce, with a double major in Economics and Finance. Matt is a Senior Analyst at Solido Capital.
Nicky Kerr – Office Manager
Nicky worked for a number of years in the finance industry. She was the first employee at Southern Cross Equities where she was involved in building the office from the ground up. She left the corporate world to raise a family. More recently she has consulted to small businesses providing them with bookkeeping/accounting services. She has a broad skillset including extensive experience in accounts and administration. Nicky is excited to be involved in the startup of Solido Capital where her role will see her responsible for accounting, loan documentation processes and office management.
Over the years Nicky has used her administrative skills managing her children’s sporting teams and organising school fundraisers. She is currently vice president of a school P&F and a Committee member of the Spit Swimming Club. In addition, she volunteers weekly with spelling mastery at a local school and speaks at RNSH to parents whose children have been recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
Ashleigh Egan – Director – Funds Management
Ashleigh has over 8 years experience advising property developers and government clients on a range of development issues including approvals for major projects, development approvals, compulsory acquisition of land and contaminated land.
Having started her career as a Project, Environment and Planning Lawyer in Sydney, Ashleigh spent time based in Singapore, where she advised on real estate issues throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Ashleigh brings experience and knowledge across the property development sector and real estate financing. She has a Bachelor of Arts/ Law (with Honours) and a Master of Commerce (Property Investment and Development). Ashleigh is a Director, Funds Management at Solido Capital.
